One of my favorite places is the Cedar Bay campground at Merritt Reservoir SRA near Valentine, NE. Each year the men in my family meet here for our annual fishing trip. We spend 3 days or so fishing and camping. This photo was taken just outside our tent one morning as the sun was coming up. I shot this on my iPhone and there are no filters applied. Sunrise and sunset pictures are ones that I often struggle to get the results I want, but in this case, the picture actually did the scene justice.
